Recycling and Waste Collection
Service Provider
As of July 1st, 2015 our garbage, green waste and recycling service provider is the City of Port Coquitlam. The city provides the bins: garbage (grey), recycling (blue), green waste (green). Please contact the city department with your concerns.

Placing at Curbside
Place at curbside by 7:00am on your collection day.
Residents are responsible for cleaning up any loose garbage scattered beyond the immediate area by animals, wind, or vandalism. To minimize problems, please put garbage in sealed plastic garbage bags before placing in cans. Waste containers should be placed at curbside in such a manner that vehicular and pedestrian traffic are not impeded.
Unacceptable Items
Do NOT include:
X building/renovation/demolition materials
X large pieces of lumber
X concrete, rocks, soil, stumps, sod
X paints/oils/chemicals/solvents/explosives
X tires/car parts/batteries
X hazardous/banned materials
X animal wastes/carcasses
X biomedical/pathological waste
X unwrapped ashes, sawdust or other particulate waste
X large items (furniture/appliances/carpets)
